ACID — Two Circle Figures
Context
The band Two Circle Figures blends indie rock, electro and cinematic textures into a resolutely experimental sound. To support the release of their track ACID, we directed their music video.
Our approach
ACID's lyrics are poetic, almost intangible. To extend this atmosphere, we built a visual universe without faces or dialogue. A solitary figure awakens amid strange red rocks, surrounded by humanoid silhouettes—dark and motionless. Left to his thoughts, he is gradually consumed by visions: a red, organic mass that pulses and writhes as solitude takes hold.
Controlled acid reaction
Our work had two focal points: developing this universe alongside the band's artists, and bringing the 'organism' to life—that red matter which swirls and disintegrates in sync with the music. No digital effects. In the studio, we triggered chemical reactions within a water vortex, under precisely controlled lighting, capturing these living textures directly on camera as they unfolded.
