ACID - Two Circle Figures
Context
The band Two Circle Figures blends indie rock, electro and cinematic textures into a resolutely experimental sound. To support the release of their track ACID, we directed their music video.
Our approach
ACID's lyrics are poetic, almost intangible. To extend this atmosphere, we built a visual universe without faces or dialogue. A solitary figure awakens amid strange red rocks, surrounded by humanoid silhouettes-dark and motionless. Left to his thoughts, he is gradually consumed by visions: a red, organic mass that pulses and writhes as solitude takes hold.
Controlled acid reaction
Our work had two focal points: developing this universe alongside the band's artists, and bringing the 'organism' to life-that red matter which swirls and disintegrates in sync with the music. No digital effects. In the studio, we triggered chemical reactions within a water vortex, under precisely controlled lighting, capturing these living textures directly on camera as they unfolded.
