BEE
Context
Bee is the second installment in the series of music videos created for Louise Charbonnel's album. Like Spaces and Come, the track was developed into three mini-videos, each exploring a different facet of the song's universe.
Our approach
We drew inspiration from the song's lyrics, which explore the fear of being caught in the grip of an omnipresent power, imposing repetitive and hypnotic work on all. This compelling theme guided our visual choices: every element had to reinforce this sense of confinement and mechanical submission.
Post-apocalyptic industry
We featured characters performing the same cyclical, sometimes absurd gestures: one digs while his neighbor fills in the hole. They all move under the harsh, artificial light of a giant projector. The staging combines several techniques: the aerial drone shots have been reworked in VFX to simulate a greater altitude and integrate a digital camera rotation. On the floor, we choreographed the extras and built life-size industrial sets. The post-apocalyptic environments were designed in models and then digitally retouched to create this empty and uncomfortable atmosphere.
