COME — Louise Charbonnel
Context
Come is the third and final installment in the series of music videos created for Louise Charbonnel's album. Like Spaces and Bee, this track was developed into three mini videos, completing a collection of nine videos with a distinctive visual identity.
Our approach
The song explores themes of solitude and confinement. We wanted to convey this quiet distress through intimate surrealist imagery centered on the domestic space. Black and white emerged as a natural choice to ground the video in a familiar, timeless setting while amplifying its unsettling quality.
Submerge a house
We worked on several effects to build this universe: Projected shadows first create a first disturbance, then gravity goes awry: Louise appears sitting on a wall, then on the ceiling, trapped in her own house. At the same time, we filmed the submersion of house models in water, supplemented by practical trickling effects inside the rooms. The house slowly sinks into the abyss on the chorus “Come back to me”.
