Context
Louise Charbonnel entrusted us with capturing several tracks during the release concert of her album HOW TO BE CONFUSED ABOUT HAPINESS at the Foyer des Marins.
Our approach
We aimed for an unobtrusive approach, keeping camera operators out of frame to preserve the intimacy of the moment. Each shoot is meticulously prepared beforehand: location scouting, choreography of camera movements, and rehearsals synchronized with the artists' sessions.
The scene's lighting
The Foyer des Marins provided a distinctive setting that we sought to enhance. Warm, diffused lighting was designed to reveal the subtle tones of skin and wood, while spotlights positioned behind the stained glass windows accentuated the venue's architectural character.
